Friday Favorites

Hi friends and happy Friday! So here we are, the last weekend before Christmas. 😮 Are you ready or do you still have some last minute things to take care of? We need to get a few items at the grocery store for Christmas Eve and Day. I can only imagine what the grocery stores will be like this weekend. :/

It’s Friday, that means time to chat about favorites from the week. Today’s favorites include two cozy, oversized sweaters – perfect for this cold, wintry weather.

So plush and warm is how I would describe this tunic sweater from Express. It comes in three soft color options – alabaster, mist and orchid (which is what I’m wearing). Love these color options for winter. This sweater is so crazy soft! It has a deep V neckline with bishop (aka balloon) sleeves. It does run big, so definitely size down. I love it with leggings, but it would also look great with skinny jeans.

Fair Isle always seems to be popular during the winter months and this year is no exception. Target’s A New Day line offers a slightly modern take on this classic design. I absolutely love the color scheme of tan, cream and soft grey. It too has a bishop sleeve (a feature that has been trendy in 2019) plus ribbing along the mock neckline, cuffs and hemline. It has a more oversized, almost boxy fit to it. Fits TTS. I kept the look casual and paired it with cropped jeans and hiking boots. However, this would look pretty paired with a cream pencil skirt and boots.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend! XO ~ Michelle
