Friday Favorites

Hi and happy Friday everyone! Hope you all are doing well and have fun plans for the weekend! So, you know that we had our annual neighborhood decorating contest last weekend. Well this weekend is our neighborhood light up night. Luminary is placed along the sidewalks and Mr and Mrs Claus make an appearance. There’s hot chocolate and cookies and it’s just a fun gathering of neighbors and friends. 🙂

Today’s favorites happen to be both from Macy’s and from the Tommy Hilfiger label.

If you are a preppy girl and love argyle, then this Tommy sweater is just for you! Love the gorgeous saturated green color and the diamond design is done in a very soft pink. There is ribbing along the turtleneck, cuffs and hemline. Keep in mind, it is cropped. I’ve worn it with mid-rise jeans, but a high-waist bottom pairs best with cropped pieces. It is made from an acrylic/nylon blend and is not itchy or scratchy at all. This timeless sweater works for the office or when out and about.

There is nothing like Chenille, right? It’s super soft and such a nice fabric to wear this time of year. But, I think what gravitated me towards this next Tommy Hilfiger sweater was the varsity style of the v-neckline with its double stripe of white and red. It’s not just an all black sweater – the simple pop of color around the neckline gives it some interest. Plus, I think a V-neckline is flattering on most women. It has a relaxed fit and ribbing along the cuffs and hemline. Good length, too. Stylish and comfortable all in one.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful weekend. 🙂 XO ~ Michelle
