Friday Favorites!

Hello friends and happy FRIDAY! Woot, woot! Any fun plans lined up for the weekend? My husband’s birthday is this weekend, so lots of celebrating (and of course a glass of wine, or two). šŸ™‚

Now that the week is nearly behind us, let’s talk about the favorites of the week, starting off with a great pair of linen pants.

Outfit Details: The short-sleeve sweater is from The Limited from a few years back, but I found a comparable sweater, click here or here for options. // Mid-rise Linen Blend Straight Leg Cropped Pant (wearing an XS) // Italian Shoemakers Selah Sandal (wearing size 8 1/2). Linen cropped pants are always a fashionable choice for warmer weather. This pair, from Old Navy, is crafted with an elasticized waist and drawstring and feature cuffs, to show off your favorite summer sandal. I tend to gravitate toward black, but Old Navy also sells them in terracotta, ochre (brownish/tan color), stone and white. Love these….so comfy and perfect on days when you just don’t feel like wearing shorts or a skirt. They’re just easy. You know, these would also work well over your swimsuit (as opposed to a sarong or cover-up).

The Selah sandal that I’m wearing is quickly becoming my favorite for summer. I admit, I’m not a huge fan of a thong-style sandal, however these lovelies have converted me. What I love about them is that they are very stylish; the gold hardware gives a polished and chic look. The outline of the footbed is raised with slight arch support that cradles the entire foot, making it a very comfortable sandal. Again, I tend to lean towards black, but they do come in beige, olive and red.

I’ve been eyeing up that red color option. šŸ™‚ Another favorite has been this pretty top from Old Navy.

Outfit Details: V-neck Button Front Cutwork Blouse (wearing an XS) // Modern Soft Skinny Crop Jeans (wearing a size 0) // Italian Shoemakers Selah Sandal (wearing size 8 1/2). I absolutely adore this eyelet top from Old Navy. The buttons are functional in case you prefer to wear it as a layering piece. Given the cutout detail, it’s semi-sheer, I do recommend wearing a cami underneath (especially if you wear it to work). Hopefully you can see some of the detailing on the close-up picture. This top can definitely take you from business meeting to brunch. How cute would this be with with a pencil skirt and heels. Or, with white shorts and espadrilles. Endless possibilities. It’s available in both regular and plus sizing. It’s very soft (cotton/rayon fabrication) and lightweight too! LOVE.

Alright guys, that’s a wrap. šŸ™‚ Let me know if you have any questions about any of these items mentioned above. Have a great weekend ahead and I’ll see you Monday! Thanks for stopping by! ~ Michelle xo
