Old Navy Try-on Session – June 2019

Hey friends! Happy Wednesday. If you have Old Navy “Super Cash”, now through June 9th is the time to spend it. Plus, if you are a cardmember, it’s VIP Month where you can earn 3X points on all Old Navy purchases. So, if you’re looking for a wardrobe refresh, now is a good time to shop. If you don’t have any “Super Cash”, you can enter the code: SWEET to save 20% off. Here’s some inspiration from a recent Old Navy try-on session:

Outfit Details: Sleeveless Jersey Swing Dress (wearing an XS) // Unfortunately this particular pattern is no longer available on-line (you might be able to find it in-store), but they have lots of other fun options in florals, stripes and polka dot. It is such a comfy dress with a relaxed fit. If you’ve got an upcoming beach vacation, this would be a cute option to take with you. Would also be a nice swimsuit cover-up.

Outfit Details: Faux-wrap Tie-belt Linen Blend Jumpsuit (wearing an XS) // Faux Leather Dome Shaped Satchel (cognac). How adorable is this jumpsuit?! It is very light weight (but not sheer) and has subtle stripes for a summer-chic look. The linen blend fabrication, v-neckline and culotte legs will keep you comfortable as the weather heats up.

Outfit Details: These items are moving faster than I can post about them! Unfortunately, this gray waist-defined striped dress sold out online, but you may have luck and find it in-store. I’m wearing my normal XS. As another option, I thought this Waist-Defined Tie-neck Dress was cute. It comes in two floral and two polka dot options.

Outfit Details: Sleeveless V-neck Polka Dot Top (wearing an XS) // Mid Rise Clean Slate Rockstar Skinny Jeans (wearing a size 2). I absolutely adore this top. I love that it is bra-friendly for starters. I think you’ll find yourself reaching for this easy layerable piece all summer and into fall. These white skinnies are selling FAST – so please don’t delay if you are in the market for a pair of white jeans.

Outfit Details: Linen Blend Tie-front Shirt (wearing an XS) // Mid-rise Distressed Rockstar Skinny Jeans (wearing a size 2). I’m wearing the red daisy print, which I thought was darling. It is a nice casual top and would look great with denim shorts and wedges. My only criticism is that it felt slightly scratchy on. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. As for these jeans, there is something about a white distressed jean that is equal parts classic and street-chic. Love them!

Outfit Details: Sleeveless Ruffle-trim Striped Top (wearing an XS) // Mid-rise Twill Everyday Shorts, 3 1/2″ inseam (wearing size 2 – recommend sizing down – I needed a 0). I love the gray/lilac color combination of this outfit. This top is soft and has a floaty fit with sweet ruffle detailing along the neckline. I feel like it could be worn off or on the shoulder. The top would also look cute tucked into paperbag trousers and a block heel for a date night. Adorable. The shorts are made of cotton with a smidgen of spandex to give you just enough stretch. They come in an array of color choices!

Outfit Details: Sleeveless Ruffle-trim Linen Blend Top (wearing an XS) // Textured Open Front Cardigan (wearing an XS). Gingham is probably one of my favorite summer patterns, so I had to try on this top. It is darling and looks adorable layered under this cardigan. The top is sheer, so if you wore it on it’s own, I recommend a tank or cami underneath.

Outfit Details: V-neck Button Front Cutwork Blouse (wearing an XS) // Mid-rise Linen Blend Straight Leg Cropped Pant (wearing an XS). This is the perfect top to add a touch of romance to your outfit, with it’s feminine eyelet detailing, ruffled sleeve and in a soft ballet pink. I paired it with these light-weight linen pants (color = A Stone’s Throw). These pants are somehow both loose enough to be cool on a hot summer day and narrow enough to be flattering. Both items can easily be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion.

Outfit Details: Textured Wrap-front Top (wearing an XS) // Linen Blend Blazer (wearing an XS) // Mid-rise Pop Color Rockstar Skinny Jeans (wearing a size 2). The top has a nice fit with a hidden interior snap closure (to prevent a wardrobe mishap), which is a nice touch. The fabric is thin, not to the point that you need to wear a cami or tank, but I recommend wearing a nude or white bra. I think you’ll find versatility with this top. Truly a work-horse staple, taking you from desk to dinner and work to weekends. I’ve incorporated this effortless linen blazer. It has an open front and is the perfect relaxed layer to top off your casual looks. The Rockstar Jeans are comfy and very easy to move around in. I like the light khaki color – perfect to wear now and into the fall months.

Outfit Details: Mid-rise Boyfriend Distressed Jeans (wearing size 2). These are selling out quick, guys! If you can find your size, grab ’em. I highly recommend these jeans. They fit well, are comfortable and I love the bleach spots at the bottom of the legs – so unique and they will look cute with practically any top.

Outfit Details: Mid-rise Twill Everyday Short, 5″ inseam (wearing a size 2 – recommend sizing down – I could’ve worn a 0). I love that Old Navy provides customers with a few short length options. I tend to prefer a 4 or 5″ inseam. It gives the right amount of coverage. This short comes in lots of color choices! So cute in a classic gingham print, which never seams to go out of style.

Outfit Details: Slim Fit Rib-knit Tie Sleeve Top (wearing an XS). This wardrobe staple, in classic stripe (more options available- but you know I love a stripe), will be your wear-with-everything go-to top this summer. And how cute is the tie detail on the sleeve!

Definitely some good sales going on right now, especially if you have some Old Navy “Super Cash” to spend. Happy shopping and if you picked up anything with your Old Navy cash, let me know what you bought!

Thanks for stopping by! xo ~ Michelle
